Wildflowers of Mississippi

Have you ever wondered what the flowers are on the side of the road or in the field by your house? Yesterday I saw a vine with beautiful blue flowers growing up a post and asked myself that very question. We have a book at the Library called Wildflowers of Mississippi that will help answer our questions. It gives the scientific and common names of the plants, description of leaves, flowering dates, habitats, etc. This is a reference book but we also have a copy that can be checked out. By the way, I have decided the flower I saw is either a Common Morning Glory or a Butterfly Pea. I will have to look a little closer next time!
